Erm... What the Skrunk?

Cat Burglary is about a cat named Skrunk trying to avoid eviction. Moew the cat has demanded him to pay a specific amount of yarn or else he will be kicked out of his living space! Usually, Skrunk would sell his stuff to make ends meet, but he doesn't have any stuff this time. Now, he must take the most sensible approach of robbing houses for things to sell! Will he succeed or will he be for the streets?

Gameplay:

You have 30 in-game days to reach a certain amount of yarn. The amount needed is dependent on the difficulty. The hub world is your base of operations. There, you can check the gallery and buy items. Ending the day requires you to pick a fortune card and rob a house. Fortune cards are the game's roguelike elements. Only 1 can be obtained per day and each have different effects to them. Items are also like fortune cards, but they have bigger effects at the cost of your yarn and the fact that they are 1 time use. In the level, there are 10 possible places where stealables can spawn. If 10 stealables are shelved, no more can spawn unless Skrunk grabs one. Once grabbed, they can be rotated and put into the bag. Be careful though, as the bag Skrunk is using is the most bootleg bag to ever exist, in a sense that the sides make the stealables fly around. Be sure to put the stealables without hitting the sides! The level has a timer and an escape button. If the timer runs out, you are caught and lose your yarn. If you press the escape button before the timer hits 0, then you escape scott free!

Features:

20 Stealables

25 Fortune Cards

7 Purchasable Items

Controls:

The menus contain point and click mechanics. For the levels:

Mouse - Move Skrunk's Right Arm Around

Left Click OR Spacebar - Grab (Hold Down)

Scroll - Rotate Stealables While Grabbing

W OR A - Rotate Stealables Counterclockwise

S OR D - Rotate Stealables Clockwise

Known Issues:

- There is an issue where you can't exit out of a gallery entry. A solution for now is to click on another gallery button behind it and then clicking anywhere to dismiss both entries

- Some of the music crackles (and bad) if you listen closely

- When "custom cursor" is turned off in the settings, any future launches will make you see the cursor for a brief second

- Some movements may be a little janky. For example, the fortune screen might make the unchosen fortunes exit weirdly

- Capturing the game with OBS, Discord, or in any way shape or form will tank the game's performance

Planned Features:
